Mistypelt brought up an excellent thought about Pinestar, the apparent leader of ThunderClan before Bluestar.

NO! Something isn't right!!! While some one at wands and worlds was saying that he/she loved Code of the Clans, he/she mentioned that he/she loved the story "Pinestar's Secret" - I love reading about the ThunderClan right before Firestar came into the picture. " But it was Sunstar then Bluestar then Firstar. There was no time for Pinestar!!! Any theories??????
Time error! How could Pinestar possibly have exhausted all his nine lives in time for Sunfall to become Sunstar and for Bluefur to become Bluestar? The answer is this: Pinestar... became a kittypet. Yes! Pinestar the leader of ThunderClan became a kittypet! It worked out like this:
Pinestar, Sunstar (dead), Bluestar (dead), Firestar.
Want to know something else? Pinestar is Tigerstar's father. Eek. No wonder Tigerstar despised kittypets, his own father had one of the best positions in the forest then... just left it all.
Did you know Tigerstar and Spottedleaf are related? They both came from Cloudstar's line. Interesting, isn't it?

Yay!! Thanks so much for posting my comment!!! Yay finally that has all been made clear to me. Eek is right. . . . Anything on Leopardfoot? Wow then Tigerstar was really really old. He probably would have been an elder if he were still alive. Bluestar was probably born in the beginning Pinestar's rule, so its possible that someone who was in the nursery at the same time bluestar was might be able to mate with Pinestar. WE HAVE REACHED 3,000. IT WAS PROBABLY ME BUT THATS OK!!! Hahahaha it would be an interesting twist if Tigerstar's Mother grew up with Bluestar???

What if Pinestar was Firestars father. It would explain why he felt drawn to the forest but of course thats just a theory
OMG Ryan what an awesome theory . . . you are so right about that it just has to be. I mean that Firestar didn't live too far from the forest. And Pinestar didn't move too far away probably. I finally got my paws on Code of the Clans!!!! YAY ME

If Pinestar is Firestar's father,wouldn't that mean that Tigerstar is Firestar's kin.That would be nuts.But it could be...

I'm DYING to get Code of the Clans! I went to the book store yesterday and got Secrets of the Clans and it is really cool. I read all the regular warrior books and now I'm reading seekers, but they didnt have ANY of the manga books or the other books at the book store though. I hope I can get them all though soon! ;)

Interesting... There's still a problem though.
It would make sense if Pinestar had left with some lives left, so Sunfall could become Sunstar, and then Bluefur became Bluestar.
BUT... Pinestar said, "I have lived out eight lives in the forest, I will live my ninth as a kittypet." (or something along those lines.) Meaning, Sunfall was close to becoming leader anyways... Then he would have to lose all 9 lives, and Bluestar only had 3 left when Firepaw arrived. So, unless Sunstar or Bluestar had a freakishy fast life-losing streak, the timeline still doesn't make sense.
Bluestar would have to be REALLY old... and Tigerclaw would be pretty old as well by that point, having lived through two leader's cycle of nine lives. (And leaders usually don't lose their lives fast, Tallstar stayed alive for a long time, as well as Firestar and Leopardstar...) So, Tigerstar and Bluestar would have to be as old as (or older than) some of the elders of the first series (Patchpelt, one-eye, etc.)...
But then again, in the Bluestar's prophecy preview it was confirmed that Patchpelt is not only older than Bluestar, he was as old as Leopardfoot. Then shouldn't he have been dead by the time Firepaw arrived?
No matter how you think about it, someone is too old in this situation... It would be easier to figure out if the cats kept track of their age (sorry for the really long post, just had to explain my thoughts XD)
sunstar could have lost his lives really fast, and bluestar was descibed as very old. Leapordfoot probably died in battle shortly after tigerpaw left the nursery.
If you looked in code of the clans, you'll see Leopordfoot is Tigerstar's mother.

Sunstar had to of lost his lives fast thats the only option but Bluestar did only have three lives when Firestar came to the forest so maybe there is a big battle and they lost alot of lives we will learn in Bluestars Prophecy
Pinestar is NOT Firestar's Father/relative because in Firestar's quest on pg 86 Cloudstar of Skyclan says "I have waited long for you to come, a strong cat, a leader, and one who bears no taunt of betrayal in his blood. You are NOT descended from the cats that drove us out and yet you are a true clan warrior. It is your destiny to restore Skyclan."
I rest my case.

mistypelt tigerstars mother was lepordfoot and she did grow up with bluestar. also sunstar on;y got 8 lives because pinesat kept his 9th.
