Jay x Stick

I would like to dedicate this post to what is perhaps one of my favorite Warrior couples ever... Jayfeather x Stick. This relationship was formed back in Warriors: Power of Three, Dark River. Ever since then, the Stick (Sometimes referred to as the Magical Stick of Wonder) and Jayfeather have shared a meaningful, deep relationship.

The Stick has comforted Jayfeather in his times of need:

"Disappointed, Jaypaw laid down beside the stick and rested his cheek on the smooth wood."

- Dark River p. 214

In return, Jayfeather protects the Stick valiantly. He frequently visits it (er... her?) to check on it's safety.

So let us take a moment to awwww at this adorable couple.

Fading Echoes Theory...

The release date for the second book in the Omen of the Stars series, Fading Echoes, is coming up exactly one month from today. (March 23!)

Warning! Spoilers ahead!

Fading Echoes is going to be MINDBLOWING! Erin Hunter has said Leopardstar will die in this book and Mistystar will be the newest leader of RiverClan.

Many theories are floating around about this latest book in the Warriors saga. Here is one of the current theories:

Warriors Wiki has a fantastic teaser from Victoria Holmes: "Things are getting very tense, with Jayfeather about to swallow his pride and seek help from the other medicine cats for a young warrior who's been horrifically injured by a falling tree..."

One rumor is that it would be Brambleclaw who is wounded by the tree. A rumor is going around that Brambleclaw will be horrifically injured after Firestar's death, in order to let Lionblaze become leader of ThunderClan. Could the injured warrior mentioned in the quote be Brambleclaw? Maybe... If you look closely you can see that the quote says "a young warrior..." Brambleclaw isn't exactly young. He seems to me like more of a senior warrior, not a young warrior. Who could this young ThunderClan warrior be? Only time will tell...

Chinese Trading Cards

For the die hard Warriors fan (that's all of us, right?) the Chinese have created a Warrior Cats Card Game. Yes, you read right, you can collect (foreign) Warrior Cats Trading Cards. Cool!

I'll post some pictures of the cards next. Pretty cool, right? If you buy a chinese Warrior Cat book, sometimes trading cards come with it.

The most of the cats look waaaaaaaaay different from the American/Canadian versions, though Brambleclaw looks pretty much the same. On the right you can see several cats from the Clans, Firestar, (ginger tom) Brambleclaw, (solid brown tabby with green eyes, next to Firestar on bottom) and Greystripe (fluffy grey cat besides Brambleclaw with yellow eyes, short ears and white chest.) are among the cats on the front of the trading card pack.

Rising Storm Chinese Edition!

Since we all agree that Chinese Warrior Cats are very cute, here is another Chinese Warriors book cover. This cover is of the book, Rising Storm.

In the distance you can see flames engulfing ThunderClan camp, while the ThunderClan cats watch helplessly from RiverClan territory. You can see Bluestar, (blue cat) Fireheart (plump ginger tabby) and Greystripe. (grey tom) And if you look reeeeeeeealy closely you can see Tigerstar. Can you spot him?

Quiz time! See the black cat near Bluestar? Who is he/she? And who is the tabby next to him/her?

This artwork is so picturesque. It makes be believe I'm there. Great job, Chinese artists. ^^
