Chinese Trading Cards

For the die hard Warriors fan (that's all of us, right?) the Chinese have created a Warrior Cats Card Game. Yes, you read right, you can collect (foreign) Warrior Cats Trading Cards. Cool!

I'll post some pictures of the cards next. Pretty cool, right? If you buy a chinese Warrior Cat book, sometimes trading cards come with it.

The most of the cats look waaaaaaaaay different from the American/Canadian versions, though Brambleclaw looks pretty much the same. On the right you can see several cats from the Clans, Firestar, (ginger tom) Brambleclaw, (solid brown tabby with green eyes, next to Firestar on bottom) and Greystripe (fluffy grey cat besides Brambleclaw with yellow eyes, short ears and white chest.) are among the cats on the front of the trading card pack.

Ravenpaw's Path

The Warriors Manga series continues with a new trilogy all about...none other then Ravenpaw! Ravenpaw went to live with Barley, waaaaaay back in the first series. He has been seen a few times since then, but nothing has not been heard from him since the Clans moved to the lake.

Zip.

Nada.

No, seriously it was like he fell off a cliff or something.

But now, Ravenpaw is back! His new manga trilogy will be released at the same time Omen of the Stars: The Fourth Appprentice. The first manga book is titled Shattered Peace. (the book cover can be seen on the right...) So far nothing has been released about the plot of the manga.

If you look closely though, you can see Ravenpaw standing bristled on the top of a two-leg nest. Dogs are barking at him and the two-leg nest is going up in flames. Heres my theory...remember how there was always dogs around the farm? I think they may have somehow triggered the former safe haven of Ravenpaw and Barley to go up in flames. We don't see Barley on the cover, making us wonder if he made it out of the fire. I think Ravenpaw will have to find the Clans. I also think Ravenpaw will end up living in the barn that Daisy came from.

That's just a theory though, the actual plot could be waaaaaaay different.

The second book of the series will be called A Clan in Need. The third and final book of the Ravenpaw manga series will be titled; Violet.*

Keep your eyes open for this mysterious manga! It hits stores on the 24th of November!

* = Remember Violet was the sibling of Barley?
