You are correct, Birchfall and Whitewing were more of background Warriors in the series. Perhaps Birchfall and Whitewing are more important then Erin is letting on? Whitewing is Cloudtail and Brightheart's daughter--maybe Erin Hunter wanted to give Cloudtail's line some spotlight as well? *shrug*

That would be waaaaaaay more likely, I agree. I also think it would add a fantastic punch in the plot. Would Lion and Jay accept Squirrelflight's kit though? It must have been pretty shocking to find out that the cat you called mother is not your mother after all. I don't think Squirrelflight is the kind of cat that would enjoy sitting in the nursery with tiny kits crawling all over her. Then again, she didn't seem like the kind of cat to fall for Brambleclaw. (I was a bit surprised when BramblexSquirrel was introduced. I thought it would be StormxSquirrel.)

Crowfeather does have a destiny, perhaps it was to father the three, maybe its more that hasn't been reviled yet. Breezepelt isn't related to Firestar though (not that we know of)--and the prophecy was "there will be three kin of your kin." Erin has stated that the Fourth Apprentice would be revealed on the last page of Sunrise and she has also said that the Fourth Apprentice had not been born yet. (I'll have to find her author chat and post it here.) I do think Breezepelt will have a major part to play in this new series, since the books have been focusing on him so much.

It's cool to find someone else who is obsessed with Warrior theories! LOL! I am kind of hoping for a kit from Squirrelflight. It WOULD be interesting to find out how Lionblaze and Jayfeather would react.
I can't wait until the next series! I want to find out if Hollyleaf is still alive, and if she is, what she'll do. Most likely she'll be back as a villain, unfortunately.
And, concerning Hollyleaf, I have another idea. Maybe not the best one, but here it is; when she admitted she killed Ashfur, she said something about being blinded by a 'red haze' and killing him like prey. Could some cat from the Dark Forest be controlling her mind? Tigerstar [supposedly] kept showing Lionblaze the image of Heathertail's dead body until Lionblaze blocked him out. I can't really think of any other reason Hollyleaf would just suddenly snap out of her Warrior Code obsession and kill a Clanmate, even one she hated.
It may be possible that Hawkfrost held a grudge against Ashfur because their plan to kill Firestar didn't work. He could have made Hollyleaf kill him and she didn't know what she was doing.
I know, not the best idea, but I am puzzled why she would snap like that. Yes, she wanted to protect the secret, but I still think it's fishy.

Oops, I kind of got Lionblaze and Hollyleaf mixed up there. Lionblaze was blinded by a red haze when he was battling Tigerstar, and Jayfeather saw a 'red mist clouding Hollyleaf's senses' when he looked in her mind. But that's even creepier. That means her logical thoughts were blocked out by something dark. She wasn't just seeing red, she was feeling and thinking it too. Eerie.

It is a possibility that Breezepelt and Hollyleaf were switched at birth. they are both black so easily mistakable. Breezepelt would be the kin of Firestar's kin.would explain everything that happened to make Hollyleaf not one of the three.

I think that dovekit is the fourth apprentice and has mystical powers but is not one of the three. The three shadowclan apprentices are tigerheart, dawnrise, and flamepelt. Tigerheart will turn evil and russetfur will die making rowanclaw deputy. Beavers will drain the lake. Leopardstar will be killed making mistyfoot mistystar and her deputy is reedwhisker. Hollyleaf is still alive and her ability is to live through anything. Shell turn evil and kills firestar and brambleclaw but lionblaze drives her away. Lionblaze becomes lionstar. Hollyleaf will lead a clan. Lionstars deputy is cinderheart. Leafpool will be a main character. Icepaw-icecloud foxpaw-foxleap. Poppyfrost and mousewhisker will be mates. Lionblaze and icecloud OR lionblaze and heathertail. The fourth apprentice will be deputy at the end. There will be another series about lionblazes kits called a new reign. Omen of the stars will be violent. Ivykit might turn evil because she's jealous of dovekit. Sandstorm and sorreltail will die maybe squirrelflight. A lot more main characters will die.
The theories I said before have been confirmed. Also tigerheart will become deputy. Onestar will be killed by brambleclaw because he goes insane. Crowfeather becomes crowstar with breezepelt as deputy. Sol will return. Sol will be slain by jayfeather.
wow this is crazy i persenly think that hollyleaf is still alive in the tunnels. she will meet fallen leaves and he will show her a way out (hollyLEAF fallen LEAVES) they will end up near the mountains and starclan will come to fallen leaves in a dream and have him become a cat agian and live the life that was taken away from him. so fl(fallen leaves) tells holly about his first life and she is like well that sounds like the tribe so they go to the mountains together and holly tells stormfur about what has happend to thunderclan (leaves out killing ashfur)and fl is really part of the tribe so he stays but stormfur comes back to thunderclan. but on the way storm goes to sleep and holly runs off to TC(thunderclan) and kills squrrilflight. but she had had kits with spiderleg and they are still alive their names are snowkit,redkit,bluekit becouse ferncloud and dust pelt are spiderlegs parents and brindleface and whitestorm are fernclouds parents and snowfur and someone are whitestorms parents and snowfur and bluestar are sisters so snowkit and bluekit look like them and so they named them that and they named redkit after redtail becouse firestar never new redtail but felt very close to him and asked him to be named redkit. (redkit-boy, snowkit-girl, bluekit-girl) and firestar freaks out becouse squrrilflight died and has a heartatack and brambleclaw is killed by sol. so holly runs back and her and storm get to thunderclan and they see that those cats died and everyone is freaking out and storm becomes stormstar and brook comes to live with them but is killed by windclan and the deputy is lionblaze
I think I know how firestar dies. Sandstorm will be carrying kits but she will explain to him that she had an affair with another cat. They will have a lot of problems but soon firestar is in a battle. Meanwhile sandstorm gives birth two a shekit and a tom. A cat comes to camp and explains that firestar is hurt. Sandstorm runs to him while he's on the ground and she tells him that because of the kits fur the father can't be the other cat. Firestar is happy that the kits are his and chooses the names echokit and pyrekit. He then joins starclan.
