Today is apparently a two-leg day. Its 'earth day.' Earth day is a day when two-legs celebrate how lucky they are that the earth hasn't swallowed them up yet--thats what the elders say.

The elders also say that two-legs try and be 'nice' to nature today. I think its a cute little thing for two-legs to do, since they always put those smelly monster fumes into the air.

If you were a two-leg, what 'nice' things would you do for nature today?

Gathering!!

GUESS WHAT?! I'm sooooooo excited right now!! My leader picked me to go to the next Gathering! Maybe I'll see Firestar and Brambleclaw! And all those famous cats!

If you haven't already guessed--this'll be my first Gathering ever. Its going to be great! The other apprentices all said that Gatherings are great!

Happy 21st!!!!!!! Warriors Sunrise is available today! Woo! Who wants it? Who's got it already?

Its going to be so great! This book is sure to finish the Power of Three series with a bang! I can't wait to get my paws on it.

Do you know what the next new series to come from Erin is? (Hint, its on the right...) The beginning of Omen of the Stars! The Fourth Apprentice comes out on November 24th!

The new series, Omen of the Stars, will focus on two kits--distant kin of Firestar. Dovekit and Ivykit will be the center of attention in The Fourth Apprentice. Don't miss it!

Fighting Moves...

So I went training the other day and I learned a lot of cool moves! I thought I'd post 'em here for your enjoyment.

The Belly Rake is a simple move. Run your unsheathed claws down your opponent's soft belly, hard. Ouch.

The Front Paw Strike looks painful, I'll tell you that. To do this move unsheathe the claws on a front paw. Then bring that paw down across the body of your victim. Works better if you aim for the face--but beware, this move can do some serious damage to the eyes and nose.

The Back Kick is my favorite move! My mentor says I have hind paws like a rabbit. To successfully accomplish this move, you need the element of surprise. (Or your enemy will see this coming from a fox-length away!) Its simple, sneak up behind your enemy and lash out with your back paws while balancing on your forepaws. Its challenging to keep your balance--I felt like a clumsy twoleg! I think this move can also work if your pinned under another cat, just lash out with your back legs to kick the other cat off.

Those are the ones I'm perfecting now--I should have them 100% perfect soon!

It's Coming....

In a recent newsletter, Erin Hunter said this about the Power of Three series,

"This series was harder than most to end because it meant saying goodbye to a major character (gasp!) as well as resolving some questions that have been hanging on for answers since the very start of the series. We've developed quite a taste for keeping you in suspense, bwa-ha-ha! I started Omen of the Stars thinking maybe we wouldn’t be so mysterious this time, but it's proving hard to resist. :)"

I can't wait! What questions do you think will be answered? Will Jay, Holly & Lion's prophecy fate be reviled at last? Will Erin & co finally answer the question that's been taunting us since the very beginning... "Why on earth is Rowanclaw a boy now and how'd he do it?"

Or something like that. Remember, this book hits stores on the 21st of April. (That's not even a week from today!) DON'T MISS IT!

Oooh! I love Graystripe's wit! Someday I'd like to be like him. I saw him once on a boarder patrol, him and Millie.

I'm going to ask Icybreath to tell me stories about Graystripe! Maybe if I beg long enough she'll tell me about life in the forest...
