Of course, there's going to be some deaths, but they make them even MORE dramatic. Also, it has a kind of error. It was that Speckletail is older than one-eye and dappletail. That is a mistake!! Also, I like Betrayal better than dark betrayal. It has a certain ring. Also I found out the forth book is said to be called 'Ambush'.

I loved the book. It was sad, but it is like, the best book in the series. I was amazed that Goosefeather saw what Tigerkit would become before Fireheart. About Swiftstar's comment, Speckletail might seem older, but maybe she became a warrior before them, and they had been apprentices longer. Like Fireheart and Graystripe becoming warriors before Sandpaw and Dustpaw, even though Sandpaw and Dustpaw had been apprentices longer.

I loved Bluestars Prophecy is was so enticing that i want to read it again and i probaly will i loved how Thistleclaw fought off that dog and i know that hes responsible for Tigerstar becoming evil. I love the name Dark Betrayal i wonder who betrays who?

Bluestar's prophecy is sad!I cried at this one part!
Just a random comment: I used to hate Jayfeather I thought he was so selfish not seeing the other person's side of things. But when I found out Crowfeather is his father and then I reread the 3rd series and I found myself really liking Jayfeather and realizing how much he is like his father. Now i'm reading Dark River and I find myself looking forward to the chapters when he is the main character. Just wondering what you guys think or if anyone agrees with me.

Anyway, I think that Mousewhisker will become mates with Cinderheart and Lionblaze will become mates with either Hazeltail or Icecloud.

Bluestars Prophecy is one of my favorite books, even though a lot of cats die in it, it is still really good. everyone thinks Goosefeather is an idiot, but he knows alot, he knew what Tigerkit would turn into.

coolest part was when Bluepaw was staring into a fox den and when Thistlepaw fought off that dog with ease.. It also showed the part when Thistleclaw told Tigerpaw to attack scourge when he was just a kit, and when Pinestar decided to leave Thunderclan to become a kittypet. Anyways i thought it was a really good book and i read it 2 times..

Ivypaw is not the one. Dovepaw is. Its been confirmed. Plus in Sunrise, Bluestars prophecy, and code of the clans it has a black and gray picture and the cat on the front just so happened to be gray.

Well, I don't really hate Heathertail. As far as I can see, LIONBLAZE was being evil to her most of the time. Remember in the WindClan/ThunderClan battle in Eclipse where he tried to murder her AND Crowfeather? Yes, she was upset at him for sticking to the warrior code, but is that really worth killing her over? But I actually don't like either of them much.

This is a little random, but I'm kind of hoping Hollyleaf IS dead. I still love her, understand, but if they aren't going to let her become Clan leader, they better just kill her off. I would rather see her dead than as a villain. But the authors are giving more hints, so I'm guessing there's a new enemy. sadly. Hollyleaf would have made a good leader before she snapped.

I don't like Seekers. I wish they would just stick to Warriors.
Why does everyone hate Hollyleaf? What has she done so wrong in the past, before she went crazy? Bluestar snapped just like Hollyleaf did, but everyone still seems to like Bluestar. I don't get it. Poor Hollyleaf, she had the things she cared for most taken from her. The warrior code and her assumed parents just turned out to be one big lie. On top of that, she was part of a prophecy that she couldn't even begin to understand. I think that's why her brain finally snapped.
But see, before that, she was so cool! She was fun-loving and most of all, she was best friends with Cinderheart. If Cinderheart trusts her, she can't be that bad. She was a good sister and always thought logically. I've looked over the series to see if she was a pain anywhere, but from what I see all she ever tried to do was help her Clan.
Unlike Brambleclaw, who actually CONSIDERED killing Firestar! If he was as nice and perfect as everyone thinks he is, why would he even have to THINK about killing his leader? Is he really that ambitious? I know he didn't go though with it, but a truly good cat wouldn't have to debate weather or not to kill. And he's NOT fun-loving at all. He just walks around giving orders and acting all noble and perfect. That's just one of the reasons why I hate him.
And back to Hollyleaf, there's something else: I still am suspecting that she wasn't in complete control of her mind when she killed Ashfur. Tigerstar, Sol, Hawkfrost, or some other evil cat could have been controlling her. Likely Hawkfrost, seeing as how he may hold a grudge to Ashfur because their plan failed. Jayfeather said something about a 'red mist clouding her senses'. Could it be she wasn't in control of her actions? Maybe she wasn't in control of her actions when she tried to kill Leafpool too. I don't know, it's just a theory.
But anyway, can anyone actually give me a REASON for hating Hollyleaf? I mean, before she went crazy?
LOL and sorry I made such a long comment. As I've said before, once I get to thinking about Warrior theories I just can't stop. And no offense to anyone here, I'm just saying my opinions and some facts I found.

I hate Hollyleaf because she thinks the warrior code is EVERYTHING. How many times has the sentence "What about the warrior code popped into her head. The only thing that I'm glad she did was kill Ashfur. And Brambleclaw is awsome F.Y.I Silverstar. You did make a long comment. Oh, well. I'm reading the warrior series AGAIN. (That was a bit random wasn't it. Sorry)
And Bluestar is awsome cause she has the capability to keep cool and not run away. And I'm not saying names. (Hollyleaf)
Bluestar did not keep cool at all. When Tigerstar betrayed her, she went totally insane called all of her Clanmates traitors for no reason. She nearly started a fight with WindClan, abandoned her faith in StarClan, and became obsessed with her kits. That's no better than Hollyleaf being obsessed with the warrior code. And because of her carelessness, Swiftpaw died. She also gave Brightheart a cruel name. That's not very cool at all.
And why is Brambleclaw 'awesome'? He was so mean to Ashfur and Squirrelflight in the past. He WAY overacted, and he only turned into a perfect cat again when he got his way with Squirrelflight. He's always looking down on everyone else and seems to think he's just great.
I personally find Hollyleaf's obsession kind of funny. She reminds me of myself, always over-thinking things and wanting to be the best she can.

But do you remember when Brambleclaw won back Squirrelflight he was still meeting with Tigerstar and Hawkfrost, even though he KNEW that she would never forgive him if she found out? He lied to her. He's simply horrible. Think what you will, but there is evidence everywhere that he is a two-faced arrogant traitor. (No offense anyone, that's just what I think)
Ashfur and Hollyleaf both had their greatest love taken from them. How would you feel if that happened to you? Ashfur loved Squirrelflight with all his heart. What crime is that? And Hollyleaf only wanted to be the greatest, wisest leader she could by learning the warrior code. Maybe she got a little carried away, but she had good intentions. Unlike Brambleclaw, who KNEW the evil in his father and brother, yet still followed their wishes.

Hi! Sorry I haven't been around in a while.
I actually feel sorry for Nightcloud. She loves Crowfeather too but he only took her as his mate to prove to WindClan that he was loyal. No wonder she has a short temper. I don't really like her that much, but I do understand why she doesn't get along with anyone. Crowfeather is just using her, like Squirrelflight did with Ashfur. When will they learn?

I have to disagree there Silverstar. First of all, Nightcloud has ALWAYS been short-tempered, even before Crowfeather. And she sided with Mudclaw about Onestar's leadership.
Also, how did Squirrelflight USE Ashfur???She still wanted to be friends with him afterward but he was a...you know...*** about it...
And I REFUSE to feel sorry for Ashfur. His bitterness is like he thinks he's the only cat to have lost someone he loves.And just to clarify, most of those cats got over it.(Graystripe,Crowfeather,Thrushpelt) and many more unamed. Ashfur should of grown up and delt with it.

I know she was short tempered before, but I understand her being bitter to Leafpool. And like I've said before, Ashfur and Hollyleaf shouldn't have gone crazy, but at least they had a reason. And Squirrelflight let Ashfur on that she liked him, but just turned her back on him suddenly. That must have hurt him really bad. Especially seeing as how Brambleclaw's father killed his mother.

I'm pretty sure the fact that tigerstar killed brindleface has nothing to do with the fact that ashfur hated squirrelflight.And hollyleaf and ashfur had no right to go crazy.well ashfur MAYBE.but definatley not hollyleaf.It's just a code!sheesh!
The code wasn't the half of it. She also had the weight of the prophecy and not knowing her power. And everyone had lied to her, including the 'mother' that she had admired so much. And knowing that she was never supposed to be born, and that her real father hated her. She DID have a reason.
And what do you mean Ashfur hated Squirrelflight?
I don't think they SHOULD have gone crazy any more than Bluestar should have. But still, they all had a reason.

Also Silverstar about your major dislike of Brambleclaw, you don't know what its like to have a cat who is a murderous traitor as a fatherso you shouldn't judge Brambleclaw so harshly because you have no idea what he had to go thorough to prove himself to his clan when he shouldn't have had to becuase none of this was really Brambleclaw's fault. And sure he thought about killing his clan leader but in the end he did what was right i mean it was his father who told him to. If you hadn't known your father very well wouldn't you want to meet with him and listen to what he has to say and when Brambleclaw realized that things went too far he stopped and told Tigerstar and Hawkfrost NO. Also I think that Ashfur is waaaaay worse than Brambleclaw becuase Ashfur was a part of a plan that tried to kill his clan leader. Brambleclaw never schemed to kill his leader.
Also Silverstar name me one time Brambleclaw has broken the warrior code. I don't mean just did something wrong I mean broken the warrior code.

Brambleclaw should have had enough good sense not to listen to Tigerstar AT ALL. He KNEW that Tigerstar was a murderer, so why did he want anything to do with him in the first place? It wasn't like he was lonely for family. He had Goldenflower, Squirrelflight, and Tawnypelt in ShadowClan. If he had good intentions, and he didn't want his Clanmates to associate him with his murdering father, then why should he want to listen to anything Tigerstar had to say? He didn't need fighting lessons, he was already a skilled warrior. Tigerstar only had evil intentions, and Brambleclaw either was too thick to see that or didn't care.

Brambleclaw will always walk a path of light and shadow, being Tigerstar's son. He did show some bad judgement, but he has learned from his mistake. We do not yet know his full purpose in the epic stories of ThunderClan, but we will see it in the time that is soon to come. We must be patient, waiting for time to unfurl his destiny so that we may see where his path leads now that so many secrets were revealed in SUNRISE.
silverstar if you never had a chance to get to know your father and then you are finally able to meet him wouldn't you want to talk to him and such. At first Brambleclaw tricked himself into thinking that meeting with Tigerstar was not bad but eventually he came to his senses and didn't do what Tigerstar wanted.
Also how is Brambleclaw soooo much worse than Lionblaze, in my book they're equal, i mean they have done the same thing good and bad.

That doesn't even make since, Wildflower. Crowfeather was the one who ran off with a ThunderClan cat, so HE is the one with a bad reputation. She must really love him. Maybe she has a sharp tongue, but I think deep down, she really cares for him. I mean, there's a TON of other WindClan toms she could have taken as her mate. But she chose Crowfeather out of all of them.
If your referring to the whole Mudclaw thing, there were other toms who stood up for Onewhisker that she could have taken as her mate. So why choose Crowfeather unless she cares for him?

Sparklestar, none of us know how Nightcloud's mind works. And and obviously knows about Crowfeather loving Leafpool, because how many times have they mentioned Nightcloud glaring at Leafpool at the gatherings? Nightcloud can't help her feelings for Crowfeather anymore than Leafpool can. She loves him too, you know. If you ask me, CROWFEATHER is the real one at fault here. If he didn't love Nightcloud, he should have never taken her as his mate and there would have never been this problem in the first place!

Leafpool is selfish, because letting the three gorw up not knowing who their parents r. She did that just to keep her Med. cat duties! Yellowfang had a kit, and Raggedstar knew and didn't kick her out! Leafpool could've done that! The truth should've be reveled! She made the worst mistake! She deserves to die! Her,, AND squirrelflight! For keeping that secret.
Squirrelflight, oh she was bad too! She decided to let them live through a lie, was being more loyal to her sister than her clan, and AND decided to be with ashfur, who also deserves to die, just tpo make braMbleclaw jealous. Squirrelflight doesn't deserve to die either because she was only trying to HELP her sister and her sister's kits from what cats would do and say.

That sounds good, but what about Nightcloud? She would be furious and heartbroken if Crowfeather suddenly kicked her to the curb and took Leafpool as his mate! Same with Breezepelt, he would never get along with Leafpool. Also, Leafpool hasn't had much warrior training, especially with Cinderpelt as her mentor. And, she was meant to be a medicine cat, so being a warrior would be hard for her.
