For a long while have we been wondering who the Fourth Apprentice might be. Evidence supports the two siblings, Ivypaw and Dovepaw more then it does Breezepelt. (I believe the Erins even denied that Breezepelt was the Fourth Apprentice.) Which of the two is the apprentice with amazing abilities unmatched by any other? Mistypelt discovered the cat on Fading Echoes is meant to be Ivypaw. However, the cat on the Fourth Apprentice is meant to be Dovepaw. So equally matched? Perhaps... It could mean the first book centers on Dovepaw--who may be the Fourth Apprentice. Then again, it could also mean Dovepaw dies allowing Ivypaw to unlock great power.
My theory is this... Ivypaw is named after Vicky's niece, Ivy. Vicky wouldn't want to kill of her niece's own character, would she? Maybe Ivypaw is to be the Fourth Apprentice...
Or...perhaps Dovepaw is the Fourth Apprentice and Ivypaw is her loyal sister who supports her all the way. (thats a bit boring though, don't you think?)
Keep those theories coming! Perhaps we can guess what happens before the actual book comes out!

i hope the one that replaces hollyleaf is dovekit :] that'd be so cool. i love her name to, no other cat as the name "dove" it's unique. i mean ivykit? done before! haha. but erg, everyone seem's sure it's going to be ivykit that's going to replace hollyleaf. and, what is the fourth apperentice? like what role dose he/she play? haha stupid question, but i never understood it.
I hope it's ivykit, she sounds cuter and why would she be on the second book's cover if she wasn't the one?!?! I am so sure that dovekit dies or something like that.
I want it to be Dovekit too.I think that since Dovekit/paw is on the cover of the first book means that she is the one.And Ivykit/paw i on the cover of the second book because something will happen to Ivykit/paw.Or Ivykit/paw will just be the main character in that book.Like the book will center around her more.Like in the first book it will center around Dovekit/paw more the it will Ivykit/paw.But I still think it will be Dovekit/paw.She is on the cover of the first book.Like come on!Big hint!

I think its Dovekit. 1 because shes on the cover of the first book. And 2 because when Jay goes back to the ancient cats in Eclipse his sister is Dove's Wing.

Remember in the dream Jaypaw had where he goes to a weird clan and his name is Jay's Feather? His sister's name was Dove's Win, so maybe that could mean . . . . that Dovekit is the one. I'm not sure though. Who know's? I'll ask the Erins . . . .
Oh and also remember that Whitewing while she was giving birth saw her kits fighting dogs so maybe Ivykit could die . . . that would be sad but that is the best way of eliminating her. No one wants Ivy and Dove fighting to be one of the three.

I think its Ivykit. i found out that the fourth apprentice is only important in the second to the end of the series. Ivypaw is on the cover of Fading Echoes. She is also on the log, with Jayfeather.
I think it is dovepaw becausethe name is definitley unique. Also, Ivykit is the same kind of pelt as jay, and Dovekit is different.
Dovekit is on the cover of TFA,wouldn't that mean she is the fourth apprentice?

Stormfur will become leader of the tribe. In order he recieves his 9 lives from leopardstar, mudfur, mosspelt, jag, star, stoneteller, stonefur, silverstream, and feathertail.
I also read that stormfur's new name will be stormcaller.
How does Stormfur not have Stoneteller? In Cats of the Clans, it says all of the healers have to have their names be Stoneteller.
It's Dovepaw. The fourth apprentice book says she can hear and see things far away.
Hey. The fourth apprentice is Dovepaw. Read the Fourth Apprentice, duhhhh. BTW, I really hope Ivypaw gets 'eliminated.' My friends and I don't like her just because she's prettier than Dovepaw =P (I know, how shallow!!!!!) but Dovepaw is so much cooler than Ivypaw.

Hi! I read all of the books including Omen of the Stars! I KNOW that Dovepaw's warrior name is Dovewing because...READ THE BOOKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It is definitely going to be Dovepaw. Reasons:
1. On the cover of the first one
2. Expresses powers, when lets not forget, her sister knew nothing of them when Dovepaw first said things about the 'brown animals'. Ivypaw got mad and pushed her.
3. Just because one cat is on the cover of a book, does not mean they are the main focus. What about when Crowfeather was on Twilight in TNP arc? Just cause he is there does not make him the special cat. And for the second book, that is Feathertail. She is not suddenly the main one, just a large portion of events happen to her.
4. Have you read the prophocey? Dove's wing! DOVE. Not 'Ivy tendril' or something.

hey you guys it is dovepaw!and her mentor is lionblaze and they tell firestar about the prophecy. and ivypaw goes and trains with the darkforest but she becomes good in the end of nightwhispers
Dovepaw is the Third. I've read the first two books, and Dovepaw is my fav cat.
People think she has blue eyes because of the TFA cover, but her eyes are reflecting the forest.
People who think Dovepaw's eye are gold: Dove's Wing has blue eyes. Dove's Wing is the reincarnation of Dovewing. Therefore, Dovewing's eyes are blue. It makes sense.
i like3 ivypaw better than dovepaw everyone says dovepaw is better but i think dovewing is just a little princess and ivypool is like that super cool cat (to me)ivypaw should have been the one i dont know why everyone thinks ivypaw should have gotten eliminated or death like seriously!!ivypaws cool to have a heart! and stop focousing so much on dovepaw!
